Size of the sleeping area
The roof tent comfortably offers space for up to four people. For those who like to stretch out, because the sleeping level is one of the largest among the roof tents.
Weight
The roof tent weighs about 95kg. Thanks to the removable ladder, the weight can be reduced by around 6 kg.
Cover and pack size
The robust hard shell of the roof tent is aerodynamically designed to reduce air resistance while driving. When folded, the tent measures approximately 226 x 125 cm (L x W), with a height of 40cm.
Tent base
Made of aluminum honeycomb panels, the floor convinces with high stability and low weight. It is fireproof, recyclable and also has an insulating effect.
Car roof load
The required roof load of your vehicle should be at least 90 kg. You can find more details and background information in our FAQ.
Setup
Because it should be quick and easy: The roof tent is completely set up and ready for use in just about 60 seconds.
Insulation
The double-layered hard shell of the TedPop with insulating layer reliably protects the inside of the tent from cold and noise.
Tent fabric
The high-tech fabric is breathable, water-repellent impregnated and particularly tear-resistant. The dense fabric ensures darkening - ideal for a restful sleep. After contact with water, the seam thread swells slightly and reliably seals any holes.
Great view
Generous windows all around and a large roof window flood the tent with light and open up an impressive view in all directions.

The special design of the ABS hard shell of the TedPop roof tent not only noticeably reduces air resistance while driving, but also brings other advantages. Unlike conventional hybrid roof tents, a fixed roof reliably protects the sleeping area. An additional internal quilted coating further improves functionality: It gives the hard shell special robustness and durability and at the same time has an insulating effect. Tent fabric
The TedPop uses a particularly high-quality tent fabric: a 300 g canvas blend made of cotton and polyester. This material combines the best of both worlds – the natural breathability and feel of cotton with the resistance of modern synthetic fibers.
The fabric is impregnated, extra durable and proven in military applications. A well-thought-out detail: The seams are sewn with a special yarn that expands when wet and reliably seals the seams. This keeps the inside of the tent dry and protected even in the rain.
Floor
The floor of the TedPop roof tent consists of modern aluminum honeycomb panels, which offer high stability with low weight at the same time. This innovative material convinces with several advantages: It is fire-resistant, completely recyclable and also has an insulating effect on the sleeping pad. This keeps the interior better shielded against the cold, while the total weight of the tent remains low – perfect for those who value comfort and safety.

Particularly clever: The annexroom is self-supporting, so you can move your car flexibly at any time. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the TedPop roof tent also fit on my vehicle?
The roof tent can be mounted on almost any vehicle that has a dynamic roof load of at least 90kg. You only need two crossbars/load carriers. The roof tent is then attached to the crossbars/load carriers with the included materials. Mounting directly on a roof rail is not recommended, as the distance to the roof is very small and the U-bolts could cause scratches. So you also need crossbars/load carriers for a roof rail.

But With Me, Doesn't the Rooftop Tent Weigh Much More?
For most vehicles, the roof load is between 75 – 100 kg. However, this specification refers to the load during driving! When stationary, the weight that can act on the roof can be significantly higher. Consider this: in case of a rollover, the car must be able to rest on its roof.
