A great project that we should all support!
Camping Ratgeber:
Camping against cancer: Free recreational vacation for those affected
Cancer – a hard blow that robs many sufferers of energy and joie de vivre.
This is exactly what the Heldencamper project aims to counteract!
It is important to the founder Andrea to free the topic of cancer from the taboo zone and to create an open exchange about fears and grief, but also to promote positive thoughts.
Young adults who are currently fighting cancer or have recently beaten it should go camping and feel joy and happiness again!
The campers are colorful and brightly designed and distributed free of charge to the affected people, which is made possible by donations and sponsors.
During a weekend trip or an extensive road trip, the young people can completely switch off, recharge their batteries and experience the feeling of complete freedom.
They enjoy an adventurous time in the great outdoors, which is designed to give them more joie de vivre and feelings of happiness and make it an unforgettable experience.
Camping brings and enables affected cancer patients:
- Colorful, free campers
- Road trip to relax and unwind
- Dealing openly with the topic of cancer
- Exchange about fears and grief
- More joie de vivre and happiness
- A closeness to nature and a sense of freedom
Video: Interview with “Heldencamper”
Andrea had cancer for the first time in her late 20s.
She felt torn out of life, her plans for the future had to be discarded for the time being and she felt she had too little support.
Due to this psychological burden, after surviving two bouts of cancer, she decided to help sufferers or survivors come to terms with what had happened and regain hope.
She wants to give young adults the relaxing vacation they deserve during this difficult time.
With the “Hope” camper van, the heroes, as Andrea calls those affected, are free to choose their destination and plan their trip as they wish.
On Andrea’s website, you can choose any days you like and request a camping trip directly from her.
She set the whole thing up herself and, thanks to donations and sponsors, has created a project that is helping many young people to regain more joy, energy and strength!
