On the high alpine road that leads up to the Großglockner, you can take beautiful walks in the breathtaking nature or start a longer hiking tour.
Austria’s cutest inhabitants, the marmots, can also be found on the Großglockner and you can observe these cute animals in the wild. 
Wörthersee: relaxation and action right by the lake

The largest animal park in Carinthia – Rosegg Zoo
If you take a trip to Lake Wörthersee, you should definitely visit Rosegg Zoo afterwards, as it is only five minutes away from the lake.
You should take a hike or walk through the zoo, as the nature is simply beautiful and you will come across some of the 400 or so animals that live in the park.
The zoo is home to around 35 different animal species such as lynx, ibex, bison and deer as well as rare species of deer.
The animal park also has a small animal zoo where you can feed and stroke the deer, goats, sheep and donkeys – great fun for young and old!
