How to get to Lake Garda: plane, train & car
There are various ways to get to Lake Garda.
By car, it takes just under 5 hours from Munich, while it takes twice as long from the north.
The A4 train runs along the south of the lake and follows a similar route to the railroad.
You can get off at Brescia Est, Desenzano, Sirmione and Peschiera if you plan to visit the southern half of the lake and then continue on secondary roads, or join the A22 and take the Rovereto Sud exit for northern towns such as Riva and Torbole.
