Camping Ratgeber:
Black Forest highlight: boating or hiking in the countryside
The lake – Lake Titisee itself is something very special.
It is located in the southern nature park of the Black Forest and is only 50 kilometers from the Swiss border.
This makes it ideal for a leisurely stroll.
As you hike around it, you will discover the most spectacular views of the surrounding area.
The most popular path around the lake takes around 90 minutes, perhaps longer with small children.
The path is clearly marked and surrounded by cafés, bars and restaurants for a snack in between.
We recommend taking a longer break at two places in particular: At the bathing area and at the lower Seebachtal.
At one stop you will discover a view that you won’t easily forget and at the other you can relax and enjoy sunbathing.
And what’s not to be missed afterwards?
A delicious slice of original Black Forest gateau!
Not a fan of hiking?
Then how about a boat trip?
Sailing your own boat on Lake Titisee is a real dream.
However, as they tend to be a little heavier, it makes more sense to hire one.
Children will love the paddle boats that look like real motorboats.
