CAMPWERK will supply offroad trailers to the Ministry of Defense.
The trailers form the basis for the motor spray trailers that will be built by Ziegler Brandweertechniek of Winschoten, a specialist in the field of construction and conversion of fire vehicles.

Camping Ratgeber:
Motor spray trailers
An agreement was recently signed between Ziegler Brandweertechniek and Ministry of Defense for delivery, construction and maintenance of six off-road motor spray trailers.
The trailers will be delivered in two different types to several Defense units.
These are Infantry Shooting Camp Harskamp, Artillery Shooting Camp ‘t Harde, Volkel Air Base, Defense Materiel Organization (DMO) and the 101 Engineer Battalion.
The trailers serve as fire pump during exercises in the field, for example, or are on standby at other locations.
The motor spray trailers are built on a single-axle off-road trailer from Campwerk.
Off-road specialist
This is not the first time CAMPWERK has supplied components of Defense.
Previously, the German company with a Dutch branch in Tynaarlo, Drenthe, delivered an offroad trailer for the Korps Commando Troepen in Roosendaal.
Here it concerned a project for the new off-road vehicle ATTV Vector, in which Defense was looking for a light off-road trailer (the trailer must be able to be transported in a Chinook helicopter), lots of cargo volume and with good off-road characteristics. Reason for Defense and Ziegler to choose CAMPWERK is the high degree of off-road capability, high payload capacity of the trailers and the many customization options.
With the adjustable drawbar, the trailer can be pulled both by a VW Amarok, the Army’s workhorse, or any truck.
Response CAMPWORK
Ivar van der Leij, responsible for the Dutch market at CAMPWERK is delighted with this order.
“We have been active with our off-road tent trailer and luggage trailers in the private market for a very long time. In recent years we have also seen increasing interest from the business market and we now supply several agencies in the Netherlands and Germany. The fact that Ziegler and the Ministry of Defense now choose us is a great boost for us as a company.”
