Bochum – The year 2023 had barely begun when CAMPWERK was already facing major changes: We moved!
Since March, you can find us at our new location on Stahlstraße in Velbert.

Update, March 1, 2023: All CAMPWERKers have slowly arrived in Velbert.
But the move is not yet complete.
Although many things are now back to normal, some things are still “in progress”.
Our showroom in Bochum is still open for you.

Why is CAMPWERK moving?
With the investment in the new location, we are adapting to CAMPWERK’s recent significant increase in space requirements.
Because a n part thanks to you, we have grown considerably in recent years and need more space.
Much more space!
Space that the old, much-loved location at the Fröhliche Morgensonne in Bochum could no longer offer us.
And so the decision was made in 2022: The The company’s headquarters will be relocated to Velbert.
This is because we have found a new location here that offers sufficient capacity for everything we already do.
And for everything we are planning for the future.

Because standing still has never been our thing.
Besides some new roof tents such as the Skycamp 3.0 or the brand new BDVand an ever-growing selection of awnings and awnings, we have also added many new items of equipment to our product range for a perfect camping vacation.
And that requires space.
Not only in the warehouse to be able to send all products out to you quickly, but also in the showroom.
Because whether it’s outdoor kitchens or comfortable mattresses: At CAMPWERK, you should be able to touch, look at and try out everything you can buy.
And soon – you can look forward to it – we want to add a whole new product range to our assortment.

Our new home
When will the CAMPWERK relocation take place?
As you can imagine, it’s not just two potted plants and a few moving boxes that we have to transport from Bochum to Bergisches Land.
Instead, it’s more like several containers full of roof tents, tent trailers, awnings, camping kitchens and much more.
And not only our warehouse, but also the entire administration, our workshop and the showroom are moving with us.
How you can reach us during the move
You can reach us from February 1st limited by email, thank you for your understanding during this time that we are not always able to respond to your messages promptly.
We will also only be shipping goods that have already been ordered until the end of January.
The next items will not be dispatched until March.
There will be no shipping in February due to the move.
By the way: Our showroom in Bochum will remain open for you until our fantastic, new and incredibly large CAMPWERK world of experience in Velbert opens its doors to you. Also at the trade fairs taking place in February, such as the abf in Hannover we are still there for you during the entire move.

FAQ on the relocation of CAMPWERK

Assemblies of roof tents or accessories are unfortunately not possible in February.From March we can arrange appointments for assembly with you again.
All handover dates for tent trailers in February have already been scheduled.
It is not possible to bring forward the handover.
Even if we have received deliveries from suppliers in the meantime, shipping will not start until after our relocation on March 1, 2023.
We ask you to refrain from inquiring about subsequent deliveries and thank you for your patience.
