As a current highlight, we are presenting the new, outdoor-tested roof tent from iKamper at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf today.
Of course, it’s ready to look at, touch and try out.
What makes the iKamper BDV so special?
Its super-slim design (only 20 centimetres high when folded) combined with an extremely robust aluminum hard shell and the many expansion options, which should especially please the rugged nature lovers among you.

The world’s largest trade fair for caravans, vans, roof tents, tent trailers and much more will break its own record in 2022: over 700 exhibitors will attract visitors with all kinds of new products and highlights.

Because before we give you a foretaste of the Disco Series and our other highlights, here are the most important facts about the Caravan Salon: It all starts with the Preview Day on August 26.
For the first time, customers can also visit the trade fair on this day!
So if you want to test the new CAMPWERK tents before anyone else, you can do so with the appropriate ticket.
Tickets for the trade fair can be purchased online via the ticket store of the fair can be booked.

Campwerk at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf
This year you will find the roof tents, tent trailers and all kinds of camping equipment from CAMPWERK in Hall 3. In addition to some exciting new products, beloved classics such as our tried-and-tested tent trailers and awnings are also waiting for you here.
And exciting new products such as the Disco Series.
The kitchen system should make the hearts of outdoor chefs beat faster.
The Disco Series combines a tripod, a gas stove and a flat pan, the so-called Disco, to form a modular camping kitchen.
Everything can and may also be used over a campfire.
The large-format pan originates from the northern Mexican kitchen.
It later also proved its worth in the southwest of the USA, where it became known as the “cowboy wok”, among other things.
Test lying in the roof tent at the Caravan Salon
For all outdoor fans, a Ford Bronco and a Mercedes G-Class are also waiting for you.

Tent trailers from Campwerk: test living in the space miracle
Of course, our space wonders are not to be missed at the Caravan Salon: an economy-sized tent trailer and a fully equipped family trailer are also set up at the CAMPWERK stand.
Here you can discover what is possible in the large trailer tent, which camping accessories you are still missing and how comfortable camping can be.
But it’s not just the finished furnishing example in the family trailer that you can admire and try out for test purposes.
Of course, you can also try out the simple assembly and disassembly of a tent trailer on site.
