But sometimes it can get really hot and you want a camping vehicle that is comfortable even in very hot weather.

High roof
What may be hard to see in the brochure or photos, but what is immediately noticeable when you enter a CAMPWERK tent trailer is the high roof and thus a lot of headroom in the tent.
Not only useful for tall people, but also for a pleasant indoor climate.
Both Economy and Family models have a minimum headroom (effective) of 200 cm.
So you never have to bend down when inside the tent.
This height ensures that there is almost always space between roof and head.
In tents where this is not the case, you can already feel the heat radiating from the roof in hot weather.
A higher roof also means more volume, which also contributes to a more pleasant climate in the tent.
Cotton tent fabric
Also very important is the material of the fabric we use.
This is a modern ripstop cotton.
So a good breathable material.
Indispensable for pleasant camping and not comparable with a nylon tent.
By the way, the ripstop makes the fabric super strong.

And how our
Ventilation all around
Our tents have mosquito netting at all the windows.
You can literally open all sides and ventilate in this way.
Very important here is the ventilation area under the wheel arch.
Under the trailer you have the coolest air.
If you open this up (on the screen mesh position) and also the window at the storm hood on the other side of the bed, you create a natural circulation of air that keeps your tent wonderfully cool.
By the way, you can also open this just fine in cooler weather.
It will never rain in.
At the top of the roof we deliberately did not put a mosquito net.
Because you can open everything around, we already have a high tent and also have protected vents in the ridge, an additional opening in the roof is not necessary.
In fact, we don’t do this because people often forget to close it when they are away from the campground for the day or have it open at night and fall asleep.
At the first shower a wet mattress is often the result.
What we did make in the roof is a coverable roof window.
Because in bad weather you want more light in the tent and not more ventilation.
Shade roof
A mostly underrated item is our shade roof.
This extra roof of reflective material, ensures that you are always in the shade, even if there are no trees around.
That means just a few degrees cooler inside the tent.
Of course, we thought about how it shouldn’t be too much work to use this roof.
The shade roof is already between your tent fabric before setting up.
All you have to do is a few small actions and the shade roof pulls up together with the basic tent.
No hassle with ladders.
An additional benefit of the shade roof is that it also protects your tent from dirt and thus preserves your tent.
