Keder strip – When you go camping, you need a few accessories.
One of the most important pieces of equipment, especially when on vacation with a motorhome or caravan, is the piping or piping strip.
You can find out exactly what a piping strip is and what it is needed for here.
Camping Ratgeber:
Definition: What is a keder strip?
The piping strip or piping rail is a reinforcement for the edge of a canvas or tarpaulin.
It is found on every caravan, motorhome and sometimes also on roof tents on the roof edge of the door and is used to attach an awning, for example.
Why do you need a keder strip?
A piping strip is therefore already permanently attached to every caravan or large tent.
The piping, which is sewn onto the awning, extension tent or sun canopy, can then be attached to this.
This makes it easy to connect an additional tent to your caravan.
Information about the piping strip:
- Reinforcement for the edge of a tarpaulin
- Located on every caravan / motorhome
- Connects awning with trolley
Whether camper, motorhome or caravan – thanks to the integrated piping strip, you can easily attach an awning!
