CAMPWERK and LUEG show how well “off-road” and camping go together in a Grenadier Lounge opened in Essen in the spring and present the off-road vehicle in a completely new form: The workhorse as an off-road camper – works brilliantly!

With roof tent and tent trailer: Grenadier becomes a camper

When the forest opens up at the end of a bumpy mud track and the glistening waters of a small lake reveal themselves, it’s just the right place to give the Grenadier’s six cylinders a rest, fold up a tent and enjoy life stretched out on the comfortable mattress of a Skycamp roof tent or an Adventure.

LUEG and CAMPWERK show what this can look like in a joint showroom: the Grenadier Lounge in the former AMG Performance Center in Essen. Here they present the INEOS Grenadier fully equipped with roof tents and tent trailers from CAMPWERK. And it turns out that the off-road vehicle is a first-class base for off-road campers.

The Grenadier gets by without a lot of “bells and whistles”. It is neither an SUV nor an off-road sedan. Instead, it impresses with a clear, straightforward look and functional but high-quality components. A 4×4 for real off-road fans. And yet – or precisely because of this – the Grenadier is ideal as a base for a roof tent or as a towing horse for an off-road tent trailer from CAMPWERK.

LUEG and CAMPWERK start cooperation

CAMPWERK has already proven how well camping and off-road love go together with the Mercedes G-Class. This classic has been part of the CAMPWERK fleet for years. Mercedes-Benz is also one of the most important sales brands for the LUEG Group. And so the two companies met again at the Grenadier and decided to present the off-road newcomer together in the Essen showroom.

In the lounge, the Grenadier is exhibited together with an off-road cargo, the off-road trailer from CAMPWERK on which a roof tent has been mounted. Rooftop tents such as the Skycamp and the Adventure, which can accommodate up to four people, complete the exhibition.
