The Plansee is one of the most popular lakes in Austria.
As the second largest natural lake in Tyrol, it attracts many tourists and locals every year.
It lies like a fjord between wooded mountains, encouraging visitors to hike along the circular hiking trails near the lake.
Those who prefer to relax by the water can look forward to class 1 water quality, as the Plansee is one of the cleanest lakes in Tyrol.
