And now directly to the Peugeot “off-road models”, for real camping adventures.
Peugeot Offroad: Camping with the Rifter high-roof station wagon & the Peugeot 2008, 3008
Peugeot not only stands for efficient small cars, but also for off-road action.
Even if the company does not have a “classic” off-road vehicle such as Land Rover or Mercedes Benz with the G-Class in its range, it can score points with off-road models and all-wheel drive.
Above all, Peugeot relies on a large amount of space inside the vehicles.
High-sided station wagons such as the Rifter or the Peugeot Partner are particularly suitable for traveling in a roof tent, as they offer a lot of storage space and can also cope with uneven off-road terrain.
Popular Peugeot off-road models include the Rifter and the 2008 and 3008 SUVs.
Rifter: High-roof station wagon with 4×4 drive
Since 2019, the Peugeot Rifter has also been available with 4×4 all-wheel drive, offering the ideal conditions for a camping adventure.
In addition to the basic equipment, other off-road features such as an optional hill descent control system can also be installed.
Sister models of this model are the Citroen Berlingo and the Opel Combo.
The Rifter is available in different versions such as the Access model, Active, Allure or Allure GT.
It is particularly suitable as a van and is ideal for traveling with a roof tent.
Plenty of space in the interior makes traveling as a couple or as a family very pleasant.
