Oh, how beautiful Brandenburg is!
The fact that you don’t always have to go far away on vacation shows Christiane Hube. The photographer spent a relaxed long weekend with her husband and dog, less than two hours by car from home away.
Ihr erster Dachzelt-Ausflug mit dem iKamper Skycamp 3.0 shows how nice such a short break can be.
Camping Ratgeber:
Short vacation with the Skycamp 3.0 from iKamper
The warmth of the sun, which slowly drove the chill of the night out of the tent, was the only thing Christiane felt in the morning at theSteckelsdorflake slowly woke us up.
The brightness of the day, the annoying mosquitoes – all that remained outside the cozy cosmos of the roof tent.
Only the view of the Havelland and the tempting cool water of the lake lured them both outside their tent.
Christiane, her husband Tobi and Bully Charly spent Whitsun at a campsite on the Steckelsdorfer lake in the Westhavelland Nature Park.
Was die beiden besonders begeisterte: The iKamper Skycamp is set up so quicklythat the home on wheels in 20 minutes ready for occupancy “to enjoy the first cool beer in a camping chair.”
Camping by the lake - pure relaxation
In addition to the quick set-up, Christiane and Tobi were also delighted with the comfort of the roof tent.
And so the two of them started the day well-rested and fortified with a good open-air breakfast.
"Thanks to the organizers for kitchen utensils, I was able to find everything in no time even without a fixed kitchen and didn't have to rummage around in boxes forever."
She spent the days walking, paddling and, of course, taking photos.
But there was no shortage of relaxation either: lazing around, playing cards and reading a good book were all part of the program.
Just as it should be for a relaxing short vacation.
Incidentally, Christiane and Tobi slept so deeply on the last morning that they only woke up an hour before departure – fortunately, you can dismantle your camp in the roof tent in no time at all.
But relaxing like this has a problem:
"Before you know it, your time off is over. Two days at the lake go by so quickly. The working week always drags on like chewing gum and the weekend flies by - unfair, isn't it?"
We think so too!
After the weekend at the lake Christiane is convinced: Especially on short vacations, more of the precious relaxation time is left over when camping is as easy as with the Skycamp 3.0.
