The decision to set off with our large vehicle quickly paid off in terms of maximum flexibility.
By occasionally stopping at a campsite and leaving the off-road trailer there, we can enjoy other activities in the region to the full: Hiking in a nature park, looking for a restaurant in a nearby town or a bit of off-road off-roading on routes we would never have found otherwise.
And that built-in kitchen in the back of the trailer isn’t just a blessing when you’re wild camping somewhere.
It’s also delicious to make your own cup of coffee wherever you want to go from point A to B.
All at your own pace and in places where – Nico Caignie from Belgium, on the road since 2019 with an off-road cargo trailer with mounted Skycamp roof tent
