Bibione on the Adriatic: sandy beach, pine forests & lagoon
Bibione is the first place on the Adriatic that we would like to introduce to you.
It is a small seaside resort directly on the Adriatic coast.
Just north-east of Venice, the town has become a popular tourist destination.
It offers a kilometer-long sandy beach, picturesque pine forests and impressive nature on the Tagliamento River and the Venice Lagoon.
There you can go cycling, do water sports, go for a walk or simply relax.

We continue to the north.

One place in South Tyrol that we would particularly like to recommend is Lake Kaltern.
As it is the warmest bathing lake in the Alps, there are many opportunities to get into the water directly from the campsite.
After a beautiful day in the lake water, you can take a hike along the circular lake trail to see the surrounding area.
The Leuchtenburg, a historic castle, is also worth a detour.
Or you can visit the Lake Kaltern biotope, where you can marvel at rare birds and meter-high reeds.
