If you’re planning a vacation at Lake Walchensee, you should definitely take a camping trip to make the most of your time in nature!

Camping instead of a hotel or vacation apartment

When camping with a rooftop tent, you can customize your route and drive to a different place every day if you want.
This allows you to see and explore much more than if you were tied to a hotel or vacation apartment.
The whole thing can be set up anytime and anywhere, as it is already on the roof of your car at the start of your trip and can be unfolded in just a few minutes and without any effort if required.
This allows you to decide spontaneously where you want to go next and when you want to take a break.
If you would like to find out more about the benefits, costs, different variants and recommendations for buying a roof tent, read more about roof tents for cars here.
Otherwise, you can also buy your own roof tent here.

That’s why camping by the lake is unbeatable!

When camping, the idyllic flair is still present deep into the evening hours.
This allows you to spend quality time with your loved ones and watch the starry sky through the panoramic windows of the roof tent as you fall asleep.
Camping is also a lot cheaper, so you can save a few euros, which you can then spend on sights or activities.
These 9 reasons speak for camping:

  • You are not tied to just one place
  • Flexible travel planning and spontaneous stops
  • You can travel to all regions around the Walchensee
  • Every day can be organized freely and spontaneously
  • Nature and a sense of freedom into the evening hours
  • Intense time with your loved ones
  • High comfort and luxury with a roof tent
  • Cost-effective variant
  • Family and dog friendly

Packing list for camping: checklist, tips & suggestions

Nowadays, most people no longer go camping with just the bare essentials.
Instead, it can be a little more luxurious.
Instead of a 2-person tent, it is more comfortable to travel in a comfortable roof tent and important outdoor equipment such as chairs, table and loungers are also a must on the campsite.
Is tidiness the be-all and end-all for you?
There is also a practical solution for this when camping!
Here’s a checklist to help you take all the essentials with you on your camping vacation and make the most of your time.
These top 5 things should definitely be on your packing list:

The most popular campsites are all located in the regions around Lake Walchensee and are centrally located so that you can start your day right away in the morning and go exploring.
Nevertheless, they are very natural and quiet, so you can have your peace and privacy in the evening.
For example, you can cook a delicious meal here with your camping kitchen or relax in front of your roof tent with a camping chair or a camping lounger.

For example, a central location with enough privacy and a certain level of cleanliness of the site and sanitary facilities are important exclusion criteria that you should consider when making your choice so that you still feel comfortable and at home during your vacation.
Here I have listed some factors that you should keep in mind when looking for the right pitch:

  • Rest
  • Catering
  • Friendliness
