Why you should go camping more….

At CAMPWERK, we love a healthy lifestyle.
As far as we are concerned, camping fits right in with that.
Why?
We explain it to you here. [lwptoc]

Better metabolism through fresh air

While camping, you are mostly outside a lot.
Especially when camping in a (rooftop) tent, trailer tent or tent trailer, you are actually continuously exposed to fresh air.
Fresh air, in turn, creates a positive state of mind.
And an overdose of fresh forest, sea or countryside air has never made anyone worse off.
Just look at the children in e.g.
Scandinavia, where it is quite common to let babies take their afternoon nap outside even in winter.

You have more social interaction

At the campsite, you meet like-minded people and make conversation more easily.
So you have much more interaction with other people.
According to the Health Council, people who have more social contacts are more likely to feel healthier, less likely to get cardiovascular disease and less likely to get depression.
Of course, you don’t have to pitch a tent on the moors by yourself!

You are in motion

Many people combine their camping stay with activities such as hiking and biking.
And even when you stay at the campground you are still moving more than in your daily life.
Even if it’s just hammering the pegs into the ground or walking to the toilet building.
Do the math on how many calories you burn with that.

Social Media?
Not right now!

In nature, you look around you more.
As a result, you grab your phone or laptop less.
And that results in less stress and radiation.
And after such a camping trip you realize that you don’t actually need that WIFI spot at all.
Except to read this.

You follow your biological daily rhythm

When you camp, you more easily follow the sun’s schedule and therefore sleep better.
You get up nice and early and don’t go to bed too late.
Combine that with plenty of fresh air under your tent canvas, a good, comfortable bed in your camping gear, and you couldn’t wish to be more rested.
If you’re already a camper, then the above reasons speak for themselves and I’m sure we’re not telling you anything new.
Are you not familiar with camping?
Then give it a try.
It is really not as spartan as you might think.
With the right camping gear that suits you best, you can make it as comfortable as you want.
