To keep your caravan or motorhome running in the cold winter months and prevent it from breaking down, there are a few things you need to bear in mind.
These include the fact that the vehicle must heat up to plus 20 degrees within four hours after being cold inside for around 10 hours.
The heat reached must keep the motorhome stable, the water system must function properly and not freeze.
Other camping options, such as a roof tent, should also be heated well so that you don’t fall ill at night.
